  3. They're so effective now, fast, cheap, i'm surprised more don't use them in the west- though here in the UK they are a little strict. Seems bizzare to me- efficient, cheap low impact green vehicles that can carry your shopping.

  24.  @MurderMostFowl  this is incorrect, explosions of all kinds cause EMP pulses, see footage of a battleship cannon firing for example. This isn't that big a deal, excepting in nuclear exchange which give significant EMP if aerially detonated. There was an idea to nuke high altitude to shut computer systems, but it isn't very effective and easy to guard against. The main effect is that it temporarily affects radar and other sensors. Modern systems aren't very sensitive to it.

  44. Sorry to hear it. I wouldn't blame the ccp directly for this kind of tragedy, just take the sympathy on this one! Maybe the biggest ram attack of all time. Instead of blaming the US they should've said they're 'investigating links' to falun gong or uyghurs. Or even ukraine. Amateurs. Or said he was 'radicalised by western internet' and use it as an excuse to crack down on vpns again... When you can make up anything you like it's amazing how poor they are at this stuff.
