  1. your 1st and 3rd could pretty much be covered in Number 6 Where as the console wars weren't as prominent an event in the 2000's Between 2001 and 2006 Sony dominated the market with the PS2 literally unopposed, while between 2007 to 2010 it was the Wii that dominate the console market. The closest console war to date remains to be between Nintendo's SNES and Sega's Genesis in the early to mid 90's. And the current one has barely gained enough traction yet.
