  7. Code Talker It's called a character story, with subtle metaphors and messages interwoven into the narrative. As opposed to a poorly written story like say ... MGS V which has to use audio logs to explain plot holes, especially with Code Talker's character.

I honestly think this list is better than the first list because it included games that actually earned its reputation for an amazing story like To The Moon and Spec Ops, the original games on the first list only made it there because they had a million dollar marketing campaign despite their stories being above average at best. (I mean Bioshock Infinite at #1 Really? Go watch Matthewmatosis's video on Bioshock Infinite to see why it shouldn't have even been on the list)

  11. +Adrian Karlsen (TGG) The Assassin's Creed games are literally making the story up as they go along now, plus the whole Templar's vs Assassin's storyline being spread out across thousands of years with both sides constantly killing each other is so beyond comprehention that its amazing that neither side had killed the other or achieved their goal despite having THOUSANDS of years to do so.

  16. ***** Extremely overrated, its story throws "Heart" and "Darkness" around so much that its rather disconnecting, the dialogue scenes are WAAAAAAAAAAAY too long, KH2 has one of the worst intros to a game I've ever seen, and so many times I've seen fans keep saying "KH shuld be #1 becuz Kindum Harts"

  21. Brad Wright No it's bad, the Villain was a Saturday Morning Cartoon stereotype, the backstory with the parasites was so inconsistent, not to mention dumb. The worst part was Code Talkers historic research where he said they gave humans language, and yet he also said that they were passed onto human by birds. So that literally means some birds went up to humans and said "Yo wassup?"

  22. Brad Wright I'm not talking about the Quarantine facility outbreak part, I'm talking about one of the cassette tapes where Code Talker talks about the history of the parasites.  He said that in prehistoric times the Parasites would be passed from Dinosaurs to birds TO humans.

  31. TheJayson8899 Not really, its your usual stop the terrorists, kill Russians and the finale is quite literally: Save the President. It has some great set pieces but among the 10 best stories in Video Games? Far from it.
