  1. Pokemon has literally become Nintendo's Call of Duty, A new game each year, rehashing the exact same formula of: you're a new kid hoping to be a Pokemon master, you get 1 of 3 new Pokemon. Defeat 8 gym leaders, then the elite 4, and along the way stop a criminal organisation.

  3. theYoungNation You think that because Pokemon isn't an FPS my argument holds no weight?  Just because it's not the same genre doesn't matter, hell I hold the same argument for the Assassin's Creed series as well, though its main exception was Black Flag which felt fresh since it was more of a pirate game. With Pokemon however the formula doesn't change ... at all. The graphics get improvements and the regions are different but at its fundamental core its still the same game. And fans like you who are in constant denial are no different to the COD or AC fans who try to make fatuous and trivial excuses as to why it's different each time.
