  2. But the fact that its mentioned in the manga is the problem. Its a side story that only about 20% of the fanbase would even know about and an even smaller portion would care because it didn't have a marketing campaign like Other M or the Prime games did.  So expecting people to go buy extra material that you didn't even bother to mention in your main game to begin with doesn't just stink of bad writing but also a deceptive cash grab just to patch a plot hole they made to begin with.
