Admiral Adama, not only captained the obsolete Galactica solo to protect not only his ship but hundreds of other unarmed civilian ships across uncharted deep space while constantly being hunted down by a technologically advanced enemy.  But he also maintained leadership, loyalty and civil order during a 4 year trial of hopelessness to find a new home for 40,000 humans, while at the same time being forced to make difficult decisions that involved sacrificing his own crew to save many others.Han Solo may be memorable but he doesn't even come close to touching how badass Adama is.
