Well lets see what we have so far: We already have one GOTY contender: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate 2 games that probably won't make GOTY but certainly enjoyable: Dying Light, Evolve, One that'll already make the disappointing list: The Order 1886 And no I don't count remakes and remasters as games that define a year. Honestly I think the year is off to a good start, though it can still go either way. And as you all posted it seems there's a lot to look forward to.

  8. SuperGamingGuy 2006 was a pretty anticlimactic year, The PS3 bombed at launch with an absurd price tag, shortage of stock and terrible launch lineup, The Wii was awesome for like the first few weeks and the still new Xbox 360's were breaking down by the droves.

  10. Already 2015 I think will be an interesting year. We already have one GOTY contender in the form of "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" which is a HUGE improvement over last year when the first nominee didn't come out till March with Dark Souls 2. And later this year we got: The Witcher 3, Bloodborne, Zelda Wii U, Halo 5 (Though I'm concerned about this one) Batman Arkham Knight, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Uncharted 4, Mighty No. 9, The Division (maybe), Rise of the Tomb Raider, and so many others I can't think of. If this year turns into another dud like last year I'll be shocked, but it's likely. Already The Order 1886 won't make any GOTY lists with 6/10's galore, and Evolve shortage of free content is pretty is concerning. Overall I think they'll be a lot of winners and a lot of losers yet no matter what system you play on it's highly likely you'll get a smash hit.
