Because our politicians know that they cannot fix this urban planning issue! It will takes a few decades to correct this problem we’ve built ourselves into from the 1950s to the early 2010s.

That sounds amazing! I’m jealous!

We get these dumb excuses here in North America because of how dumbed down everyone is, Lol. Most people cannot understand the concepts you offer because they lack the fundamental reading, writing, reasoning and calculation skills needed for a modern society with many things going on.

I think you notice the ornate details because you have trained your mind to see more things. Most Americans are dumbed down beyond belief, thanks to our public educational system.

Awesome video! I’d love to see the comeback of Victorian era streetcar suburbs in Canada/USA!

Biggest problem with right turns on red light is the fact that if you actually slow down, come to a full stop and look for any pedestrians or cyclists on your right side; drivers behind you will often get angry at you for not speeding through or doing a rolling stop and quickly moving on.

The reason why most people in North America prefer SUV over hatchbacks and sedans, is because of crumbling road infrastructure. Driving a small vehicle will cost you a lot more in maintenance, since your constantly banging your tires in potholes or large cracks. That is why everyone goes for the heavier vehicles. It’s also about safety, since there are many people who cannot properly handle a car, but need to for minor errands.

What you say is very true! That could explain why the only other “great places” to visit in Canada/USA are National Parks and Conservation Areas (aside from old downtown cores). I see many Americans with memorable times spent in nature, wilderness, on site camping or being able to kayak and fish at a remote lake. Seems to me like many have replaced good urban places for farms, railroad towns, and Amish-ville country.
