  2. What you say is very true! That could explain why the only other “great places” to visit in Canada/USA are National Parks and Conservation Areas (aside from old downtown cores). I see many Americans with memorable times spent in nature, wilderness, on site camping or being able to kayak and fish at a remote lake. Seems to me like many have replaced good urban places for farms, railroad towns, and Amish-ville country.
