  1. Putin does not care about maintaining a good Russian state with a prosperous economy, high standard of living, and a healthy population demographic. If he were so concerned about those noble things, he would’ve never allowed his generals to become multi-millionaires who launder money into yachts or allow a small group of big businessmen to plunder Russia natural resources for their own financial benefit.

  2. Putin invasion of Ukraine has nothing to do with absorbing more people into the Russian Federation. The only real objective that Putin has accomplished is destroying Ukraine agriculture, which exports hundreds of millions of tons of wheat to Africa and the Middle East.
