  1. Most people won’t be able to just “flood back to the countryside”. Especially with high gas prices, car dependency etc. in North America. You also have to take into account of federal land regulations, conservation authorities, environmental protection etc. that is imposed on the countryside now. Which makes access to the rural parts very limited. And through high industrialization, we’ve already eaten up most of the fauna and flora in the countryside. In the future, we’ll have to go both ways and find a balance.

  2.  @jgw9990  Not true whatsoever. That might be the case with certain parts of Europe, but in America, we built cities and suburbs for the wealthy and upper middle class. The wealthy will always have access to better education, better health care, better housing in an urban environment, and be able to provide more for their children.

  3.  @jgw9990  Not exactly true. That can be the case for some families, but not the majority of wealthy families.
