  1. The Netherlands has a well designed public transit system. We don’t have that here in the USA. So we have to own a car and drive a car in order to survive. This adds to the burden of many people.

  2. @ You forgot to take into account that one American dollar in 1960 is the equivalent to 25 American dollars in today currency (adjusted for inflation). So regardless of what profession you work in, we’re all getting robbed.

  3. As a Canadian, I find it amazing how many of my fellow Canadians are fleeing to the USA (where cost of living is “cheaper”), but then I find these videos here on how bad the USA has become. It seems to me that no matter what Western nation you live in, it’s all going under really fast with inflation, rising taxes and rising social problems.
