  1. By 1914, liberalism morally rotting up the minds and hearts of Britain and France. Britain was the first European nation to industrialize. But by the end of the 19th century Britain industrial economy, engineering, manufacturing and commerce had fallen off the cliff while Germany industrial/commercial economic growth boomed. That’s why the First World War was fought. Britain and France didn’t want Germany to economically surpass them.
