  1. I think the misperception that many people have, comes from an arrogant mindset. If you’re a welder who only specializes in automotive manufacturing, then yes, it makes sense why you’re paid terribly and at risk of your job getting replaced by automation. However, welders are still in high demand elsewhere in the petroleum industry, chemicals industry, construction industry etc. etc. I think most people don’t know how to prioritize their skill sets and also don’t realize that with an increase in sub-specializations and an increase in safety hazards; you get paid more money! In other words, life is more of than art, than a mathematical equation. It’s about being natural artists.
