  1. Russia and Ukraine does not know how to govern itself. Unlike the Anglo/French/German sphere of nations in the Western Hemisphere who understand self-governance, self-sufficiency, and possess the high level of creative-entrepreneurial skills. The overall Russian/Ukrainian population are lacking such important skillsets for building a high society. However, Russia and the former Soviet Republics have always been financially and economically poor. Their best bet is the large export of natural resources (oil, gas, coal, lumber, seafood, beef, cotton, sunflower oil etc.), but the valuable opportunities keep getting squandered by corrupt leadership.

  2.  @TheLastAngryMan01  You're correct about that. These days, its everyone for themselves and to hell with everyone else type of mentality. The only problem I have is that more Americans should demonstrate the fact that they demand for their military personnel to return home. USA spends tens of billions of dollars each year to keep several army bases across Germany.

  3.  @Livvvid  Germany understood that it's a lot cheaper to purchase natural resources from Russia, rather than use overcomplicated logistics to deliver resources by cargo ships from the Middle East or Africa.

  4.  @apassionatenerd.3564  Russia cannot feed or house the majority of its citizens, let alone maintain a modern military force. Their logistics and rear echelon units are poor and not intended to fight outside Russian territory. USA is going broke spending hundreds of billions each year to defend other countries who couldn't give a two shits about financially poor and struggling Americans. We spent $5 trillion fighting in Iraq. If we had spent that money on improving our infrastructure, adding more affordable housing to our cities and giving struggling farmers/ranchers a helping hand; we'd be much better off today. And no, I'm not sorry, America is not a flop house for the world problems.
