  1.  @playboicartiismydad4842  “Boer” in Dutch means farmer. Not slave master or slave owner. The Dutch (later on joined by the French Huguenots) were all farmers, not slave owners. The Boers managed their own farms, and once in a while, they paid an African to help them out with farm labor work. It was the British Empire who shipped unskilled Black labourers from West Africa to the Cape, in order to mine gold. Not the Boers.
