  1. I’ve got nothing against a research scientist or biologist or gardener who creates new seed variety for farming, environmental control, or just pleasure plants. I mean, the avocados that we eat today were hybridized (by accident) when a farmer mixed two different species of avocado together. We allowed 1-20% profit margins on seeds for a short period of time in order to reward innovation. Nowadays, higher profit margins are used as a massive financial transfer of wealth to the top.
