  1. I don’t think anyone should be surprised by what happened in the Java Sea and the shallow waters off Indonesia. Those South-East Asian countries are very poor and mismanaged despite their abundance of oil, rubber, palm oil, and lumber. Just like Nigeria (exports millions of barrels of crude oil everyday), but 90% of the population lives in poverty.
