  1. I’ve been driving a 2021 Chevy Equinox with a 1.5L Turbocharged Ecotec engine. Got 35k miles on it and no issues. Dealership told me to change engine oil every 10k, but I do it in less than half the time just to be on the safe side. These engines are really maintenance sensitive and something that should not be taken light heartedly.

  2. Wow, that’s an awesome video! Loved the tear down of that eco tech engine. GM is such a strange company. Some of their cars are great, others are downright terrible. You really have to know your technical stuff when buying from a grey zone car company.

  4. I read online that GM gets a few German engine companies like Opel to design a lot of their automotive engines these days.
