I don’t hate those who are economically, romantically and financially better off than me. I hate those who are better off than me and are working hard to make my frustrating life more miserable.

@tealkerberus748 Exactly what Scott Galloway mentioned in his recent Ted Talk. Too many people are looking for ways to "increase my compensation while decreasing my accountability." That is why all of America is in rapid collapse.

@Auszie The older generations basically threw a massive party that us younger folks were never invited to. Now we're the ones who have to foot the party bills left behind by them. In the 50s, 60s and 70s the average American threw away the country entire savings and investments for disposable consumerism. Then from the 1980s to 2008, they borrowed money to pay for a lifestyle that they couldn't afford.

Then I managed to pay that $20k mortgage off in six years time and remained debt free for the rest of my life while only earning $5/hour. You kids just need to try harder.” Lol
