Seems to me you experienced cognitive dissonance on your visit to Australia and seeing all the homeless people out in the streets; while at the same time experiencing racism from locals. That fact that you make such a judgement shows to me that your ancestors would’ve done the same if the roles were reversed.

Individual freedom has been taken too far here in the USA. It’s not just drug abuse, crumbling families, homeless everywhere, lack of public transit, etc. etc. We have become the fattest nation on Earth with a lot of morbidly obese people on welfare and subsidies.

@snap6532 The government does not care about the homeless problem. No government here in the Anglo-sphere of nations cares about its own people.

@stevephan9688 "Aussies aren't racists". Well duh, Australians are obviously not racist! The problem is outsiders being put first instead of local people. If Aussie's were flooding into Vietnam, and taking away all the jobs, training programs etc. while Vietnam is in an economic hardship; there would be riots all over the place caused by the locals. In Australia, the corrupt government keeps things like that in check.
