  1. The destruction of reliable, efficient and affordable streetcar transit across America is thanks to public opinion being swayed in favour of private cars and freeways over railway transit. Americans voted with their money to opt for gasoline and cars instead of electric railways for transit. So, this is our fault and not the fault of GM or government.
