Wow has a much bigger popularity and player base even in its state now so more people choose to play wow over guild wars 2. The game plays very fluidly idk how you could think that it doesn’t it’s literally known for having extremely fluid combat. I’ve played FF14 gw2 eso and wow and I’d rank gw2 and eso lower than either. Honestly think eso is a pretty bad game overall would rather play Skyrim lol. The world v world shit in gw2 which would seem like the selling point doesn’t appeal to me at all. You blend into a massive group of ppl with little to no individual presence. I know they have arenas but I’ve never heard of anyone speaking well of them so little to no draw for the PvP which would be the most enticing reason to play.

Popularity generally does tend to = better game = more players. You can say their marketing team is shit all you want and I’ll even agree with you. Doesn’t change the fact that despite all the negative feedback and publicity for blizzard it’s game is still bigger than gw2. People didn’t flock to gw2 when shit hit the fan, the majority of them went to FF14 and Lost Ark. Anyway feel free to continue arguing I won’t be responding any longer.
