  2. At first I thought a two-state solution within the greater Israeli borders would not work whether those states were independent as in Gaza or semi-independent as in the West Bank. Contiguous borders too close, independent or not. So I figured an independent state outside, away from Israel, with surrounding Arabian countries giving up space or assimilating them into their countries. I have since learned that the surrounding Arabian countries would be totally opposed to such a solution. They don't want anything to do with the Palestinians and associated terrorists, who have caused all sorts of trouble for them over the years.

  3. I guess the leaders of Gaza will finally have to provide essential services - electricity, water, infrastructure, livable conditions, etc. for their citizens, not rely on Israel, against which it plans terror, while accepting its services.
