  3. I don't think Trump is toying wth Zelensky. I think the deal maker is serious. Somewhere along the line - in phone calls or conversations - his siphoning of Ukraine's post-war resource revenues for America has hit the dust; so now Trump is on to power plants and energy. If he's toying with Zelensky, the optics are so embarrassing for Trump and America. I am not sure that Trump has ever been crystal clear about the events of this war or the geography involved. His wild statements seem to confirm his loose knowledge. I believe that, although Trump seriously wants to end this war, unfortunately, at heart, he is another hegemon. He actually has the power to end the war immediately but is prolonging it with wild sideboard notions. I don't blame Trump for his loose knowledge about the war. He has been a very busy man, preparing for his campaign over the last four years. Either his team finds it very difficult to work around his crazy statements, or they, too, are not up to scratch.
