I believe the final straw for Putin, after relentlessly calling for diplomacy, was the abominable behavior of Liz Truss during her meeting with Sergey Lavrov. He was disgusted. Putin and Lavrov understood very clearly that Biden & his proxy Liz Truss wanted war, not diplomacy. Putin invaded to save the Donbass Russians.

  2. I believe, at this point, Russia is going to absorb Ukraine, after Truss's and Biden's behavior. Russia cannot risk leaving Ukraine as independent. Victoria Nuland would catch the next plane to Ukraine to continue her reckless terror.
