Firstly, let's get confirmation on the collateral damage in Gaza. Hamas has failed to deliver basic services, essential services, and acceptable living conditions for Gaza, so I highly doubt its ability to deliver an accurate fatality count, let alone that for as long as I can remember, it has always been the modus operandi for ME terrorists to exaggerate deaths - even stage destruction and losses - to elicit Western support.
Right now, the civilized world should be helping Israel to get rid of Hamas, and yes, that will mean collateral damage.
Instead, Hamas is once again bamboozling the West to feel sympathy for it through the people of Gaza who are their tools.
The people of Gaza have never objected to Hamas. They have supported them. That has consequences.
A recording of a terrorist's phone call to his parents in Gaza has been publicized - likely a captured phone. It illustrates the support of Gazans for Hamas. He called his parents, screeching that he had killed twelve Jews, telling them that he had their blood on his hand, asking his parents' if they were proud of him.
Einstein once remarked on all the evil in the world but warned more evil are those who support the evil or do nothing to stop it.
It would be difficult, even today, to get decent people to suggest the German people should have been given humanitarian aid, emergency services, and humanitarian escape routes, as Hitler and his goons decimated European Jews in death camps, gas chambers and slave factories. Of course not. Humanitarian aid for the German people came after Hitler and his regime had been wiped out.
Humanitarian aid for Gazans should come after Hamas has been wiped out, and it is becoming evident that the conventional wisdom of a two-state solution is impossible. Gaza has been independent since 2005, equally as dangerous and arguably more dangerous than the West Bank with Israeli military occupation
So complex, but rewarding terrorism is a fool's game. Huge benefit to surrounding countries to take the Palestinians? Even they want nothing to do with their terrorism
