  1. New York Times article is off the rails. Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporozhia were not carved out for Russia. They voted to join Russia, after experiencing Ukrainian genocide, ethnic cleansing, Banderite-Nazism, militariaztion against them. My guess is that Odessa, too, will vote to join Russia, if given a chance.
