  1. @tempered in the fire -- Totally agree. Job applications in the initial rounds should be done that way too. I dare to guess the result: Chinese students will be in the majority; and if they are there on the basis of meritocracy, then that's exactly where they should be. For those who don't like that, the response should be to figure out why and copy what they do. From a white woman.

  3. ​@ted johnson So what's your point? He didn't attend any of the universities he featured: Yale, Harvard, or Stanford. He did attend a boarding school, which probably has a great deal to do with his common sense. Too bad many more don't go to boarding schools, where discipline, ethics, and academia, and meritocracy are paramount.
