  1. Perhaps it's time to get rid of political parties. New system. Individuals run on the basis of their individual accomplishments, education (tough qualifying course - something equivalent to the CFA - almost all of the democrats running today would fail), understanding of national and international politics and economies, and plans for their districts and America. We are witnessing the dire consequences of dumbed-down education and affirmative action. This must change for journalists (need much tougher entry standards for journalism schools), politicians, and not least voters. Without informed electorates, qualified professional journalists, and highly educated and accomplished politicians, there is no democracy.
