Look at it as how far you have come, or are going, out of difficult circumstances. Trump is popular because, although he comes from privilege - he created his own privilege - he has the backs of the ordinary people. He was wealthy before he entered politics. He didn't skim off politics to steal wealth. He didn't even take a salary as president. The Democrats have the backs of the large, colluding, often corrupt organizations. The roles of the parties have been not just reserved but become Trump Republicans for the survival of America as a great country versus Biden Democrats oozing into a hybrid Marxist-Totalitarian Fascist Party that is destroying America. It is extremely difficult right now, as inflation, resulting from high energy prices, is crippling family finances and forcing people to choose between food costs (the food industry is highly dependent on energy) and rental/home costs. How did this happen? cowardly Biden sanctions against Russia that boomeranged to destroy Western economies through sky-high energy prices, and pulling magic Biden-bucks out of thin air by borrowing money to wage war, support corrupt Ukraine, and feed, house, and care for illegal migrants who should not be in the US or any other Western country.
