  1. On her side?!! She zipped Jorge Torres in a suitcase and refused to let him out, He suffocated. There can never be an "on her side" under those circumstances. If he abused her, she could have left him. She was the abuser. Her abuse was lethal.

  4. Maybe; however, it is a legal right for the defendant to say whatever she/he wants to say in the sentencing portion. The attorney could advise her but is not able to control what a defendant will say.

  5. Couldn't watch her noxious impact statement again. Had to skip it this time. If Jorge Torres beat her, etc., she could have left at any time.
