  19. After watching your raccoons feasting on grapes, I bought a bunch and headed for the little group about which I know. They absolutely loved those grapes. Just like yours, taking the grapes in their paws and munching -- wild raccoons, yet so gentle, with soft little paws. Took some bananas too. They didn't want anything to do with them. Rolled them around in the dirt and left them. They didn't like them at all. And, oh, by the way, people I met along the way, obviously attracted to the raccoons, all knew about you and your name. You are famous, James. People love your channel.

  27. Feeding these raccoons on your deck is really great for them, James. Following your lead, I purchased some hot dogs to feed the little group where I live. They loved and grabbed them, just like yours do, but they dropped them and rolled them in the dirt. Soon the hot dogs were covered in sand and grit. On your porch, your raccoons devour nice clean hot dogs.

  29. So cute. That not so little guy -- a little more white than the others, with a long pointed nose, -- is an expert at shoveling food to protect it for himself. If he's not too old, he'll definitely live through the winter hibernation and be around next year.

  33. That is so true. The same with cats. If you watch kittens, they cuddle close together for comfort and warmth, but when it comes to feeding time, they are on their own, each one for itself. Instinct to survive in nature. Fighting over the mother's nipples or for the best spot around a communal plate.
