Wheat, as we eat it, is pretty well always highly processed. Highly processed carbohydrates that turn into SUGAR in our bodies. Sugar, the cause of coronary heart disease, diabetes, overweight, obesity, etc. So yes, whatever you say, it is better to stay away from bread, other baked goods, pasta, cereals, etc. I challenge these Fifth Estate hosts to try eliminating wheat for a month. They'll notice a difference in how they feel -- so much better -- in just a few days. They will be amazed at how quickly their stomach bulges start to diminish.
