  1. Patrick Sanders' call for a British citizen army is abhorrent on three fronts: (1) Conscripting British men (and women) to fight a war against Russia! Why? For what? Russia, a new country that emerged from the collapse of the USSR, just 32 years old (quite different from its time as a socialist state of the USSR) - has never - not once - threatened or invaded Britain. In fact, prior to February 24, 2022, Russia and Britain engaged in mutually beneficial trade, ended after cowardly sanctions against Russia, that have boomeranged to substantially increase Western energy prices and send the British economy into a tailspin. (2) Forcing young British men and women to die on the frontlines of a manufactured British war against Russia, forgetting for a moment the arrogance of believing little Britain could defeat Russia, but not to worry, psychopathic warmongers, such as Patrick Sanders, don't care about fatalities. Their continued calls for more and more death and destruction in Ukraine for a US war against Russia, with 500,000+ unwilling Ukrainian conscripts now KIA for this needless, evil war, is all the proof we need of the British government's total disregard for fatalities of war, as long as the elites keep pulling in their MIC profits. (3) Total disrespect of the British people, using a euphemistic "citizen army" in an attempt to pull the wool over their eyes about the realty: forced conscription with the risk of death for pointless, manufactured wars for MIC profits.

  2.  @neilreynolds3858  Absolutely, the war in Ukraine is nothing less than a US manufactured, hegemonic war against Russia, using Ukraine and Ukrainian conscripts as proxies to fight the evil US war (supported by all its cowardly bootlicking UK/EU/West leaders), with PR bs that we are supporting Ukraine's "freedom and democracy, both of which do not exist in Ukraine, and that Putin started the war, when the timeline of events leads directly to the US starting the war. Side goals of this vile war: MIC profits, FIRE (Financial, Insurance, Real Estate) profits, for funding the war efforts, then the clean up after they swarm in to repair their damage, and OGAM (Oil, Gas and Mining) profits, for resources to manufacture weapons, plunder oil, gas and other resources), not to forget kickbacks and money laundering, with handouts to Ukraine partially circling into Western bank accounts. There were wars against Russia before it became part of the USSR, then the Cold War against the USSR. No one from the former Russia is alive today, and I don't think Britain was involved in the wars against Russia (albeit it dallied around instead of promptly moving in to save the Tsar and his family). You are so right that, had Putin not become president, the West, particularly the US, would already have almost entirely looted Russia.
