@Vitaliy Nechaev good luck. I'm not sure I would survive in that environment. I'm far too accustomed to saying whatever I want. Censoring myself would be very difficult. Hope you get through this ok 👍

China lives under tyranny, a surveillance state that crushes even the slightest opposition. It seeks to conquer its neighbors like the Borg. Resistance is futile. They will be assimilated. But yeah, China is "competent." They have to be in order to achieve their imperialist goals.

It's true what you said about cancel culture, but we don't throw people in jail for saying something people don't approve of. Huge difference. No worries, I don't think Russia is as bad as North Korea, China, or Iran. Despite what it looks like now, there is still a chance Russia will loosen up after Putin is gone IF the people make sure his replacement isn't the same as he is.
