@obie-1309 Jesus did say, "Love one another, as I have loved you." But, Jesus never loved anyone in the physical, sexual (eros) sense. Here He is referring to agape (Gr.) = "God's love"; phileo = friendship love; and storge (love of parents for children; siblings' affection, etc.). Progressive religionists want to disregard the Apostle Paul as much as possible (usually in favor of Matthew chap. 5); as Paul calls Christians to spiritual maturity through discipleship.

Most LGBTQ+ apologists are shallow rationalizers; and fail to recognize/concede that there are three types of laws in the Old Testament Torah (Leviticus & Deuteronomy)—namely ceremonial, dietary, and moral. The moral laws are the only ones which transcend; and of those, the ones which are included by reference either specifically or summarily (e.g., Jesus' "two commandments") in the New Testament. †
