  1.  @cobrakingofeart  I pay taxes too by the way. However...the DOD has never contacted me and asked me for my permission to by an Aircraft Carrier, Submarine, 76 Fighter Jets, or even a pair of boots but they award the contracts and spend the money. The "peoples" money is a nice term used so you don't get too, too mad about paying taxes. It's strange how people don't get to mad when the government pays ridiculous money for items that can be purchased at Lowe's cheaply. The same people scream about making compensation on past wrongs by the U.S. government. I'll need to look up taking responsibility because it's a subjective term.

  2. Me: the U.S. Government wrote clauses and Articles protecting, supporting, and upholding Slavery in the U.S. Constitution. Congress passed legislation to support, uphold, and protect slavery. The SCOTUS made rulings to uphold, protect, and support slavery. States and the Federal Government collected revenue from slave labor and all of those entities are still in existence today. Right? Just checking.
