If I don't have a job, i would probably be a hikikomori too. However, I don't feel like i'm shutting myself from society. I just don't have any interests to talk to people or socialize.

This practice is common in Vietnam too. Quite honestly, i find it stupid. If im the provider, why should i let my wife control my money? If the family needs anything, i can provide resources as it's essentially my responsibility as a provider anyways. But the idea of letting my wife control how I can spend my own hard earned money just makes no sense. Yet many Vietnamese men are proud of this practice. It's almost as if they find it "cool" to be controlled financially by their wife.

That doesnt say anything. You go to go with the statistics

Why blame the customers? (Majority men). There is reason why there is a saying that prostitution is the oldest profession. Aross all cultures around the globes, from the ancient time where thefirst human civilization started to modern time, there is prostitution. Prostitution is part human culture. You can argue it came from biology. Men just have the biological urge to spread their seeds. In fact, I firmly believe it has everything to do with biology.

@prickly_procyonids passport bros doesn't mean men particularly go to Japan to look for wives. As far as i know, Filipino and Eastern Europeans seem to be the popular choice for passport bros.

indeed. But I won't criticize Japanese women too harshly for their standards since they really do have a difficult time getting a job after marriage. Unlike the U.S, women still have all kinds of job opportunities regardless they're married or not. So their high standards are just their entitlement.

@cottoncandykawaii2673 the grass IS greener on the other side in terms dating and marriage. You'll have a higher chance of finding a traditional woman. That said, you gotta have resources or rich enough to move to a different country tho. Passport bros is only for the wealthy. Most men can't afford to go anywhere. Also, women are not complaining about the lower 90% of men. They are complaining about the top 10% of men who find wives in a different country.

@XxGamersxx1990 not different culture. I AM Vietnamese. I understand my own culture pretty well. Certain practice is stupid. This is one of them. Also the idea that men are supposed to fear their wife because wifes are considered "Lions/lioness" in the family. Yeah, BS. It's also common to consider wifes as the "roof of the house", which implies wifes have the authorities over the husbands. And like i said, many vietnamese support these practices. I have absolutely no idea why. I guess they like being controlled. 🤷♂️

@Elennar29 again why are you blaming men? Who control access to sex? If i offer you $1000 for some bedroom fun right now, are you saying you are forced to accepted $1000?

@jayc33day Trying to be a smartypants, aren't you? In that case, please do dispute my claim with statistical evidence that we both can recite to.

@jayc33day or you got nothing to say with regard to statistics. Typical smarty pants. Claim to be good at something, and yet got nothing when asked to prove it. Please do me a favor and don't embarrass yourself again.

@JellyOnAPancakeAyyyybecause it's women that drive men insane. Men want peace. What woman is cable of giving a man peace? Not too many. They're good at complaining about even the minute things tho
1
@JellyOnAPancakeAyyyy men marry KNOWING they will have to sacrifice, in most case, both their mind and their body as well as their finance and freedom to support their family. Women, at least modern ones, marry for their own selfish reasons. How many times do you hear women demanding this and that, and, and and etc for themselves? Nothing about supporting their husband and their children. Cooking and cleaning? How dare you! That's slavery!

I'd say 2nd worst. Worst pain is finding out you're raising a child that is not yours years later
