  1. I work at a medical device company and there is an engineer manager at my company who doesnt know squat about the products that we manufacture. Every time there is a problem with our products, he always asks around if anyone knows how to fix the problems lol. Even the production leaders shake their head and wonder how he became engineer at the first place.

  2. As much as i'd hate to say it, but companies dont care. They will simply hire people with a work visa and pay them less. It's happening at my company. Most engineers here are Indians with a work visa
