  11.  @cayetanosoler3432  historians dictated it started in the 7th century (which current Islam did) but it was around much longer that according to Muslims themselves which is backed up by the beliefs of the islamic empires (biggest known being the persian empire but many came before) According to Muslims Islam predates Christianity and if you read the Quran it more than eludes to that fact.
