On take off rotate, you pull the yoke back, the elevator goes up, tail goes down, aircraft angles up creating the angle of the LE of the wing to the air. What does an FDR mean to you? That’s an easy one.

I’d save my money and my dad would take me to the local air strip and take a flying lesson. Solo’d on my 16th birthday. Then switched to a Cessna 150, then a 152, then a 172, and kept going.

  11.  @richarddarlington1139  👈. That’s cool. Stick and rudder is fun. I flew an ultralight for a few years also, it was a 40HP Wizard and had spoilerons instead or ailerons. I fly for a living and play with RCs on my down time. I’ve built a few but don’t have a lot of build time so I have bought a few RC foamy’s to fly. I did build an ugly stick 6.5 wingspan and converted it to electric. It take a 6 cell and is fast. I can imagine setting the wings on a bi plane, be time consuming. Do you ever put a go pro on your planes and fly? I have mounts on some of my planes.
