  2.  @mariuszfurman4767  because the EU never had a contract with Sputnik so they were allowed to use it. And some governments have rolled it out better than others. If you researched properly you will see that France has a high proportion of anti vaxers and both Macron and Merkel have expressed sincere doubts about the effectiveness of the AZ jab. For all you can say about the UK government they have not played this stance and thus has contributed to a higher vaccine rate than elsewhere. Fact

  3.  @mariuszfurman4767  when Germany tried to sign their own contract the EU pulled them back on it since they had a contract with AZ as I have said. This means that your idea is right in theory but not in practice The EMA have been much less sceptical about AZ admittedly as they said it was safe. It was down to individual leaders how they interpreted the vaccine rollout once the EU eventually was able to roll it out to them..
