  4.  @MMSpan  because we don't have full control of our territorial waters period. Iceland for example does as an independent coastal state

  5.  @MMSpan  pretty adamant Norway, Iceland etc. have greater control over their own fisheries since they're not full members of the EU

  6.  @MMSpan  the deal specifically doesn't give us full control of our waters due to the transition. That's why fisherman are angry at the sellout as it means it won't all be over until at least 2026
