@Liorte1973 you clearly misread what I said. I didn't say CPTPP doesn't have rules and regulations, thus bureaucracy, I said it's far less so than the EU. It isn't a political union, just an economic one, one in which had the EU maintained, I am willing to bet we would not have voted to leave it in 2016. For some reason it auto corrected itself, so it wasn't my misspelling

@Liorte1973 yes under Thatcher, but guess what. She warned about the EU becoming increasingly politicised and centralising power away from member States. Back then was very different to now. As I said, if it stayed that way, no one on the leave side would have had a leg to stand on just like they didn't in 1975

@Liorte1973 She made it work for us better than anyone else. Major, Blair, Brown etc. all sold us out and increased its powers over ours through successive treaties. If it wasn't for them, Brexit wouldn't have happened. Never thought I would say this but it turned out Maggie was right after all on Europe
