  4. The question would have been remain or leave with the deal presumably. No deal should have also been polled, or a softer brexit such as Norway plus

  5.  @shamanahaboolist  only problem with four options on the ballot is that there may not be a majority for one option. At least with a binary choice you are guaranteed one will get above fifty percent

  6.  @shamanahaboolist  yes but say if a plurality voted for no deal but all the other options added up got more votes. That's a majority against no deal

  7.  @shamanahaboolist  more people may want no deal than any other option individually yes, but when you add up the votes for the others they get a greater percentage of votes than no deal. This is akin to the problem with our current electoral system FPTP
