A. Boris didn't call Muslim women letterboxes. He said it about those who wear the burkha. Most Muslim women wear the hijab. B. If she read the actual article, she would have seen that it was arguing in defence of Muslim women wearing whatever they like, actually attacking Denmark who banned the burkha as an illiberal act. That's the overall context which matters here.

@rubbercable taken those remarks out of context. People can believe what they want, I'm just providing a valid interpretation of what he wrote. I personally agree with it. Yes the burkha is oppressive, ridiculous and in some ways offensive, but that is still no reason to ban it in open outdoor spaces at least.
