  1. yet there might be many other victims, in other areas, such as Las Vegas …. Hence keeping them (the guns) would be the safest bet until those resources are fully explored and exhausted

  2. LE do not know for certain all the victims, RIGHT ? Is not LE still investigating different murders & areas such as Las Vegas, possibly where his brother lives. (think South Carolina and possibly other areas? KEEP the guns in case OTHER victim(s) are discovered that LE can associate to Rex. ONE of the 300 guns might turn out to have been an instrument used in a murder(s), UNTIL these possibility’s are fully explored, don’t give the guns back. KEEP EM!
