The great irony being abstinence from food being the bodies greatest gift.OMAD or the 72 hour immunity reset fast regime is vital once in a while and allows vital cellular repair (autophagy) when the intense digestion processes are given a rest and stem-cells are activated to do their designed healing processes.We were designed to starve and feast prior to agriculture and most hunger is really drug addiction withdrawal from the carbs and sugars we weren't designed to process.

@mrsthatcher9815 I not vegan,i eat dairy and occasionally fish,just don't dig the modern animal processing model.Vaccines,hormones,antibiotics...yum.

@mrsthatcher9815 Fish aren't generally nurturing creatures though are they ? they are pretty much the definition of free-range,unless you go for factory-farmed options like Salmon for example,which i don't.Ditto any crustacean that gets dropped into boiling water.It tends to put me off.I don't look down in any way on carnivorous consumers in the slightest,that's not my beef (npi) i see connectivities with the corporate cruelty models in place and the correlating impacts on health in general given what they do to them with hormones,vaxes etc. Antibiotics wipe out human gut-flora the basis of health immunity so that gets ingested alongside anything else they care to squirrel in,if you get my drift ? Poultry gets the most barbaric treatment in many ways.How many times have you seen thousands of them caged and miserable while transported on trucks heading for pretty gruesome despatch appointments for those zinger-burger experiences.Personally..? many times,so i kicked that out and found it easier to go the whole hog with the rest of the four legged fraternity.As i say,i don't judge people for their choices of food but this increasing ''Carnivore is king'' narrative gaining traction hither and yon i feel needs a balancing counter narrative.

@annother3350 Indeed.Glad i got ahead of the curve.Unemployment based poverty with a side order of health issues put me onto the health benefits that go with the territory.Dr Mindy Pelz on YT is my fasting guru,she's something else.

@andrewlilley3660 Just an overarching chronic pain sitch around the trapezium that's not eligible for any health benefits so i am taking matters in my hands by prolonged fasts which are showing distinct changes but not quite major improvements just yet. After my first 72 hour grueller,i did though experience significant improvements to my achiles tendonosis which was pretty dramatic.The stem-cells really only start to kick in at that 72 hour point doing their repair magic,so i'll have to go beyond this for the deeper-rooted trapezoid issues,the other incredible benefits accrue long before the stem cells activate too. Certain areas seem more amenable to quicker repair jobs such as the aforementioned achiles, Almost 2 years to get physio due to cv-19 lockdown queues and i only got acupuncture with very limited results.I encountered Dr Mindy Pelz YT channel fairly recently and get the lowdowns on how fasting can bring miracles of healing,something the NHS doesn't recognize' apparently.You need the ducks in a row to seriously engage with this routine,

@andrewlilley3660 He has touched on the NHS situation previously i believe but maybe he may be going too 'hard right' to counteract the 'hard left' to use such arcane descriptors.Centre is the natural order of life,two wings to steer the bird after all ? .Maybe a wounded career,ego etc engenders an...overreaction.The SCL (so called left) are clearly philosophically bankrupt and seeing how bare is the cupboard are proving to be the ideal dupe for this insanity and authoritarianism,lavishly calling the shots currently.AL strikes me as a highly evolved picker of the 'lower hanging fruit' issues but i wonder if he's a fully red-pilled 'bigger-picture' operator or merely limited-hangout like Brand & Co ?
