@ alex christoforou ..the kursk incursion was a trap. This is classical Russian military tactics right from from their play books. The Russian military objective is known by everyone including a 1 year old in Russia that it is to demilitarise NATO. This means trading media optics for the objective. It is not in the interest of Russia to see NATO retreating from Kursk. Russia will have lost. It is in the interest of Russia to see that Ukraine stays in Kursk for as long as possible. The longer they stay the more attrition and the quicker the military objective. This isn't easy to understand or comprehend by anyone.
